What changes between Edmond utilities
An Edmond address may receive electric service from Edmond Electric or OG&E. Confirm the utility from the bill and service address before using any rate, export-credit or interconnection assumption.
If the bill names Edmond Electric, its current requirements control the project. Edmond Electric requires pre-install review, a distributed-generation permit, an interconnection agreement, an electrical permit and approval before parallel operation. Its posted residential distributed-generation rate does not credit excess generation returned to the city system.
If the bill names OG&E, use OG&E's current interconnection and billing rules instead. A useful proposal identifies the serving utility and states every rate and export assumption.
We handle site assessment, system design, the applicable City of Edmond permit path, serving-utility interconnection and final inspection. Review the full Oklahoma solar permit guide.
